本書曾被翻譯成德、英、日、中版本，月底即將出版的《[1661臺島開戰](https://www.books.com.tw/products/0011060720?ref=taitokchi.com)》收錄學者翁佳音譯序〈老書重版再讀，會有驚奇新發現〉。在歷史補課的浪潮下，再度透過新的翻譯，或許將有不同的觀點、讓讀者能仔細觀察荷蘭與鄭成功軍隊的互動以及台灣 Formosa 的時空環境。
