30年前、1996年一場被稱為「[二月政改](https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E4%BA%8C%E6%9C%88%E6%94%BF%E6%94%B9?ref=taitokchi.com)」的大事件，[Walis Perin](https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E7%93%A6%E6%AD%B7%E6%96%AF%C2%B7%E8%B2%9D%E6%9E%97?ref=taitokchi.com)、[Safulo A.Cikatopay](https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-tw/%E8%94%A1%E4%B8%AD%E6%B6%B5?ref=taitokchi.com)（蔡中涵）憑藉著關鍵少數的兩票，把街頭運動中的訴求：正名、立法，推進國家體系的藍圖裡。透過政治角力，以成立原民會為唯一合作條件，迫使行政院承諾。1996年12月10日「[原住民族委員會](https://www.facebook.com/cip.gov.tw/)」成立了。

歷史傳承、文化教育、公平正義、資源分配⋯⋯，都在原民會成立之後，開始步上軌道。《[原住民族基本法](https://law.moj.gov.tw/LawClass/LawAll.aspx?PCode=D0130003&ref=taitokchi.com)》、《[原住民身分法](https://law.moj.gov.tw/LawClass/LawAll.aspx?pcode=D0130001&ref=taitokchi.com)》、《[原住民族教育法](https://law.moj.gov.tw/LawClass/LawAll.aspx?pcode=H0020037&ref=taitokchi.com)》、《[原住民族語言發展法](https://law.moj.gov.tw/LawClass/LawAll.aspx?pcode=D0130037&ref=taitokchi.com)》、《[原住民族傳統智慧創作保護條例](https://law.moj.gov.tw/LawClass/LawAll.aspx?pcode=D0130021&ref=taitokchi.com)》相繼實施。這不僅象徵著 Formosa 台灣，努力在先住民、南島語系族群的平權努力。也讓我們生活的土地，再次展現多元面貌的成果。
